| Defensive Driving School.Defensive Driving School is an alternative to consider after receiving a minor traffic citation. Defensive Driving School (hereinafter, DDS) allows the defendant, upon completion, to have the citation dismissed with payment of court cost. The court cost is $122.00. The defendants driving record will show that the citation was given, but dismissed.The DDS is held at various locations. Please call (205)744-1721 or (205)744-1729 for more information. The DDS is a four-hour class. |

| Court Schedule.Pleasant Grove Municipal Court is held every 3rd Tuesday of each month in the City Council Chambers. Court begins at 9:00 a.m. |
PAYMENT INFORMATION
Payment may be made by mail by sending a money order or a cashier's checks made payable to City of Pleasant Grove to the address below. Do not mail personal checks or cash.
Alternatively, payment may be made in person at the Court Magistrate's office. (Use main entrance of City Hall.) Personal checks, cash, cashiers’ checks and money orders are accepted. Company checks, credit cards or debit cards will not be accepted. A drop-box is available for payments made after hours. The side entrance of City Hall has a drop-box for payments.
PAYMENT IN FULL MUST BE RECEIVED BY COURT DATE OR YOUR DRIVERS LICENSE WILL BE SUSPENDED AND A WARRANT ISSUED FOR YOUR ARREST.
