The Pleasant Grove Beautification Board meets every 4th Tuesday of each month of the year at City Hall at 7:00 p.m. We always welcome new members, and we would love for you to come and join us. In the September 15th City Council meeting, all Yard of the Month winners present were recognized, and the Yard of the Year winner was announced. This year’s winner was James and Debbie Jones. Yards are judged in the months of April, May, June, and July.
We are getting in to our busy season. We will be at City Hall on Thursday, October 23rd at 6:30 p.m. to decorate for fall. We have also set a date of Monday, December 1st to decorate for Christmas. We have to get City Hall ready for the Thursday, December 4th Holiday Lighting Ceremony at City Hall at 7:00 p.m. To complete the weekend festivities, the annual Christmas Parade will be Saturday,December 6th, beginning at 8:00 a.m. All parade entries will start lining up behind JACK’S Hamburger and the parade will end at First Baptist Church on 4th Street.
