Alabama Forestry

Boy Scout Troop 120 in Pleasant Grove, in cooperation with the city of Pleasant Grove, Alabama Power, The Arbor Day Foundation and the Alabama Forestry Commission will be giving out trees (seedlings) to those Pleasant Grove Residence that were affected by the April 27th tornado. The trees will be available for pick up on February 11th at 8:00am. The location for pick up has yet to be determined but will more than likely be around Hill's Groceries.

The City website has just completed a major renovation after careful review and input from the citizens. The project goal was to get more information out to the community quickly and offer increased functionality to all users.      After the tremendous crowd and positive remarks about the "Tree Lighting Ceremony" which the City held on December 1, 2011, we have had numerous inquiries about how to volunteer for the 2012 Christmas Parade Committee.  Anyone interesting in serving on the 2012 Christmas Parade Committee, please send your name and email address to:  chrcmtpg@att.
